Admissions
When does the first cohort begin?+

September 2026, with a second intake in January 2027.

How long does the admissions process take?+

Typically two to three weeks from first enquiry to place offer.

Is there an entrance assessment?+

A short conversational assessment and a subject placement exercise — no high-stakes test.

How do we begin the enrolment process?+

Submit the registration form; an admissions officer replies personally within one working day and books a family conversation.

Are places limited?+

Yes. Each grade is capped at 15 students per class to preserve the teacher-to-student ratio.

Do you offer bursaries?+

A discreet bursary programme is available for a limited number of families each year. Please request details from admissions.

Teaching & curriculum
Are classes live?+

Yes. All core teaching is live, in structured classrooms of no more than 15 students.

Which curricula are offered?+

Cambridge and IB (Grade 3–12), plus a Redhouse homeschool foundation programme (Grade R–2).

What about exams?+

Redhouse coordinates exam-centre registration globally, and moderates internal assessments.

What technology do students need?+

A modern laptop or iPad, quality headset, and reliable internet. Redhouse is device-agnostic across Apple and Microsoft.

Is there homework?+

Yes — meaningful, structured practice with clear expectations. Never busy-work.

How are students assessed?+

Continuous formative assessment, plus formal Cambridge / IB summative assessments at each key stage.

Family life
Can we travel during term?+

Yes — this is a core Redhouse principle. Provided the student attends live classes, families are free to travel.

How is wellness supported?+

Every family has a named wellness coach and regular check-ins.

Is Redhouse a religious school?+

A quiet Christian ethos underlies the day, without imposition on families of any tradition.

How do students make friends?+

Live classes, clubs, live events, student council and travelling cohort tours build a real global peer group.

What about time-zones?+

Students enrol into one of five global zones so classes fall within their normal daytime hours.

How involved are parents?+

As involved as they wish. A parent council, termly reports and open lines to the wellness coach keep families close.

Fees & logistics
How are fees structured?+

Annual tuition billed termly, with a single sibling discount. See the Pricing page for current figures.

Can we pay monthly?+

Termly billing is standard. Monthly plans are available on request.

What is your refund policy?+

A full refund is available up to two weeks before term begins. Thereafter fees follow the standard international-school schedule.
